COVID-19 Procedures
Kids' Korner Child Development Center is committed to the health and safety of our children and families, even before COVID-19. Although we have rigorous health and safety standards, we have implemented new regulations through COVID-19 as we follow the Public Health Toolkit.
Highlights of Existing Practices

Routine and frequent sanitizing and disinfecting toys and surfaces.

Nightly cleaning by a professional crew.

Routine health checks and rigorous enforcement of infectious illness policy.

Routine and frequent handwashing for children and staff.

Frequent laundering of crib sheets and mat covers.

Frequent health and safety trainings which includes; CPR, First Aid, SIDS, Infectious Illnesses, Bloodborne Pathogens, Shaken Baby Syndrome, Emergeny Preparedness, Playground Safety, Recognizing and Responding to Abuse and Neglect, along with many others.

Monthly fire drill and quarterly shelter-in-place and lock down drills.
Additional Practices through COVID-19

Use Procare app in order for staff and families to communicate throughout the day, as well as contactless check ins and outs.

Scheduling tours to limit number of visitors throughout the day.

Suspension of field trips for preschool and elementary aged children.

The use of masks are optional.
