COVID-19 Procedures

Kids' Korner Child Development Center is committed to the health and safety of our children and families, even before COVID-19. Although we have rigorous health and safety standards, we have implemented new regulations through COVID-19 as we follow the Public Health Toolkit.

Highlights of Existing Practices

  • Routine and frequent sanitizing and disinfecting toys and surfaces.

  • Nightly cleaning by a professional crew.

  • Routine health checks and rigorous enforcement of infectious illness policy.

  • Routine and frequent handwashing for children and staff.

  • Frequent laundering of crib sheets and mat covers.

  • Frequent health and safety trainings which includes; CPR, First Aid, SIDS, Infectious Illnesses, Bloodborne Pathogens, Shaken Baby Syndrome, Emergeny Preparedness, Playground Safety, Recognizing and Responding to Abuse and Neglect, along with many others.

  • Monthly fire drill and quarterly shelter-in-place and lock down drills.

Additional Practices through COVID-19

  • Use Procare app in order for staff and families to communicate throughout the day, as well as contactless check ins and outs.

  • Scheduling tours to limit number of visitors throughout the day.

  • Suspension of field trips for preschool and elementary aged children.

  • The use of masks are optional.
